Run It Back started creating lasting communities in 2021, and we are proud to say that since its creation, it has been getting better by the day. As we have continued to expand and reach new people, Run It Back has changed and evolved in many exciting ways. Let’s take a look at 2022 and our new rebrand too!
New Communities
We began 2022 with a wonderful opportunity—a chance to build new communities.
In both Ohio and Louisiana, we were given a perfect chance to expand our reach and engage new people. We are very excited about this development and are already seeing the positive changes these new communities are making.
We hosted open run engagements for local adults who were looking to enjoy playing co-ed sports and connecting with local professionals. We hosted our engagements during some of basketball’s most exciting moments—NBA All-Star and Men’s NCAA Final Four.
Every day, these new communities are finding new ways to connect, have fun, and grow.
The Anniversary of Run It Back
Since Run It Back started in 2021, 2022 came with something very exciting—our first anniversary.
Run It Back started locally in California in 2021 with an expanding community of co-ed basketball players, and we were able to celebrate the organization turning one year old in 2022. To celebrate this occasion, we focused on reconnecting and growing the community that was one of the first states that started it all, Georgia. It was a complete success!
Rebranding Run It Back
In the mist of 2022, the Run It Back team decided that we wanted to focus on branding
our organization to ensure that we are sharing our message to the best of our ability. We want everyone to have a chance to connect and join our communities, which means we need to reach more people who love co-ed basketball.
Following several brainstorming sessions and plenty of hard work, we have given Run It Back a fresh new look to help reach more people. We worked with over 15 corporate volunteers to build our new website, created compelling new pitch decks, and researched new markets to better understand where potential co-ed sports community members are placing their focus.
In 2023 and 2024, we plan to grow, expand, and help more people enjoy co-ed basketball and a tight-knit professional network.
The Same Great Community, Fresh New Branding
It has been a long, exciting journey since Run It Back began, and we are so happy to be able to share these exciting highlights and milestones with our community. Already, 2021 and 2022 proved to be great years for Run It Back and all of our members. In the future, we hope to continue to see this same excitement, growth, and expansion.
As we expand upon our mission to foster a network of professionals that lift each other up and bond over a shared game, we will continue to grow our reach and empower new communities. We believe that nonprofit athletic organizations change people and communities for the better, and we look forward to playing a role in these changes.
